About Exam Form Kit
Most Indian application portals ask for the same set of uploads: a photograph, a signature, and sometimes a left thumb impression, a handwritten declaration or scanned certificates. Each has its own KB range and pixel size. The Exam Form Kit puts all these slots on one page, so you prepare everything for one exam in one sitting.
Pick a preset for bank exams, SSC, UPSC or NEET/NTA, or choose Other to type your own limits. Presets hold commonly published values, and every KB and pixel value can be edited. Photos and thumb impressions are cropped to fill the frame, while signatures and declarations are fitted whole on a white background. When you are done, all ready files download together as one ZIP.
When to use it
- Filling an IBPS or SBI form that wants a photo, signature, thumb impression and declaration, each with different limits.
- Preparing UPSC uploads where certificates must go in as a single PDF under a KB cap.
- Redoing your files after a portal rejects them for being too small or too large.
- Combining phone photos of mark sheets into one compressed PDF for the documents slot.
Tips for the best result
- Open the official notification first and copy its exact numbers into the kit before uploading anything.
- Sign with a black gel or ball pen on plain white paper, and photograph it in daylight without shadows.
- For the thumb impression, press once firmly without smudging.
- Leave width and height empty if your notification gives only a KB range; the kit then keeps your original proportions.
- Look for the green tick on every card before you click Download all.
Common problems and fixes
- The card shows an amber warning instead of a green tick.
- The file is outside the KB range you set. Recheck the numbers, or start from a cleaner, evenly lit photo, which compresses more easily.
- An error says the image could not get under the maximum KB.
- The pixel size is fixed and too large for that KB limit. Confirm the width and height from the notification, or retake the photo against a plain background.
- The documents PDF stays above the limit.
- Upload fewer pages, or remove unneeded pages first with Delete PDF Pages, then add the file again.
Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Everything is processed inside your browser. Your files never leave your device.
Are these the official sizes?
They are the commonly published limits, but exams change them often. Always compare with your official notification and edit the sizes in the kit to match.
Will my signature be cut off?
No. Signatures and declarations are fitted inside the required size with a white border, so no part is cropped. Photos and thumb impressions fill the frame.
My file is below the minimum size. What happens?
Some portals reject files under a minimum KB. The kit pads such files with invisible data so they reach the minimum; the picture itself does not change.
Can I change the exam after uploading my files?
Yes. When you switch presets, uploads for slots that also exist in the new exam are processed again with the new limits. Check each card once more after switching.
Why does the SSC preset mention a webcam?
Many recent SSC forms capture your photo live through the webcam. Use the photo slot only if your form asks you to upload a picture.
